Kabalou's is the first restaurant of its kind in the country on this scale and has been meticulously designed to add an extra touch of quality to what Asian cuisine offers to the locality. Exclusivity is the key throughout. Wedgewood blue and terracotta - pink tone walls highlight stone archways, wittily placed suits of armour. Tudor and traditional rustic ceilings and magnificent crystal chandeliers in this baronial style hall, punctuated with intricately carved wooden screens, Indian elephant prints and rich tapestries, creating something that is once gothic, colonial and oriental.

Hand Carved Luxury

All furniture and fittings have been hand carved and are of the highest quality, together with the brass lamp and light fittings, hand crafter by blacksmiths, adding a feeling of comfort and luxury to the whole of the restaurant area, which seats more than 100 diners at any one time.

A separate banqueting area, elegantly draped, marquee-style, from floor to ceiling caters for conferences and parties of up to 100 diners at any one time. There is also a separate full stage and lighting rig for discos and dancing, and now with the licence for a civil licence for wedding. Diners have the benefit of two excellent chefs at Kabalou's, one of who has been voted a 1999 chef of the year and was head hunted from an award winning Indian restaurant in birmingham. the indo-Chinese chef - a specialist in his art has been brought over from Asia where he was personal chef to one of the countries top celebrities.
They can be seen at work with their hand - picked team of staff in the open kitchen area where there is a special clay oven for the preparation of naan and tandoori style dishes.
Kabalou's also provides good hotel accommodation with 22 en-suite rooms offering single, double and family accommodation with similarly high quality furnishings and facilities, where quests may wish to stay after a special celebration or business meal at the restaurant.

The restaurant and hotel also has its own adjacent car park with ample space for parking, with a valet and parking service available on request.
Guests are greeted for their meal by the maitre D' and taken into the Egyptian style bar area, where they may relax and have a drink, select the dishes of their choice and even enjoy a cigar from theory personal box held behind the bar.
